Certainly the foundation of a great R&D team is the assembly of the finest minds one can find. aboutGolf has always subscribed to the concept that technology development requires that all involved are "99th percentile" achievers. We do have brilliant programmers, physicists, mathematicians, and 3D developers. But building on this foundation is the key to success: execution. Only through well-organized, consistent, hard work can one truly achieve.
aboutGolf maintains an ever-evolving master development plan document. It is an ambitious plan, to say the least. But it's all possible, and through hard work and solid execution we'll continue to deliver improvements and new products to increase the value of your simulator. |

aboutGolf believes so much in the essential nature of R&D that it formed an independent division, aboutGolf Labs, to purely focus on advancing its technology. aboutGolf Labs, with a continually increasing R&D budget, has consistently delivered significant breakthroughs and product improvements since 2002.
aboutGolf was the first to introduce 3D graphics, and its graphics engine remains the state of the industry. aboutGolf's team of nearly twenty course developers on two continents have introduced many innovations toward the most accurate and aesthetically impressive course replications. aboutGolf has introduced the concept of Peripheral Integration, the integrating of data and functionality from outside tools such as force plates, video analysis, online events, data-tracking, and league management.
aboutGolf's innovations continue in 2008 with the introduction of the amazing 3Track 3D vision tracking system, and SimSurround, a 3-screen visual experience that must be seen to believed.
